The Possibilities Are Endless

It's not that often we get serious on the tenthree blog but Billy just finished work on an incredibly powerful and moving film about singer Edwyn Collins by D.A.R.Y.L. It will be premiered at SXSW so we can't say too much at the moment apart from WOW but watch this space http://www.thepossibilities.co.uk/

Happy Pay Day

Pay Day. It literally is pay day today. The last day of the month when everyone goes out after work and thinks they're a weekend millionaire. This is the topic for FRED & NICK's latest work as they follow four very different lives. The film is given a mystical feel by the narration of George The Poet. You may never think of Croydon the same way again. Here is the trailer, cut by Billy and the full film is on Channel 4, Monday 10th Feb, 11pm.

BelVita Breakfast - Lisa Snowden

Out with the bacon bap and in with BelVita's baked breakfast alternative. Lisa Snowden features in BelVita's latest advert, guiding us through her commute to work with a Strictly-esq hop, skip and jump. With her new found morning energy, Lisa locks eyes with a tall, dark and handsome (George Clooney circa 1989) in the lift. Go get 'em tiger. Cut By Mark, with Director Ross Cooper 'OneInThree'.

Good Night Guarantee

I think at some stage in our lives we've all wondered what it would be like to wake up with Lenny Henry. Imagine no more because thanks to Premier Inn we can all wake up with Lenny. This was a pretty big production with Lenny catching Zs on a beach in Cornwall, Kings Cross station and the cheeky rascal even crashed a wedding in his jimjams. All beautifully shot by James Griffiths at Moxie and cut by Quin.

Locked Up

Great news for Bugsy and Mark!....So after Locked Up wiped the floor with the other shorts at the London Short Film Festival, it is now in official competition at: Festival De Cine Lanzarote and Postira Film Festival Croatia, against many other great films and film makers. It has also been taken on for International sales and distribution by Premium Films, who are looking to take it to Rotterdam, Sundance, Clermont-Ferrand and Berlin'

The Old And The Young

What's the first thing you do if you find a strange old man in a caravan on his own in the middle of a large field?....Shout NO really loud and RUN! These teenagers clearly weren't taught the golden rule and instead they try and provoke the reclusive old man with the power of music. The track clearly struck a chord (huh) with the old man as we see him burst from the shackles of his caravan and launch into a joyful and expressive dance routine. Its a beautiful video, shot by Director Oliver Murray and Edited by Mark.

Sainsburys - Food Goes Further

Ever felt like the Sunday roast was just too much to handle? Can’t quite stuff all that stuffing in? Feeling frugal around the wallet and the waist? Well, Sainsbury’s have teamed up with three foodie bloggers/writers for these new ads to show us just how to scratch more out of those scratchings but still make delicious food-porn-esque feasts which leave you saying “ooh, that were lovely and mustardy”!

The Guardian - The Observer

No human can own the weekend but if you buy The Guardian you can at least try - and then fail spectacularly! Director Jeff Low appears to have turned his set into the aftermath of a house party inhabited entirely by twenty-something art students with access to anything their imaginations could conjure, all in an attempt to scratch the surface of The Guardian Weekend’s mind-numbingly inspirational content...
Can you handle it?

The Sun - Holiday Ready

Just as we were starting to resign ourselves to a long grey British winter The Sun, thanks to MJ Delaney and Becs, have come up with something to amuse us (and I’m not talking about page 3 lads). I’m not sure if any of us at tenthree have ever smuggled budgies quite like that, but being the fashionistas we (ahem) of course are means that we have a lot of experience with unnecessary wardrobe stress and bulging suitcases!
