Royal Marines - Stealth

Bex has done her service to HM Armed Forces by cutting a set of six thought-provoking snippets into Marine life. A visual experience, directed by the lovely Max Fisher, which challenges the viewer to consider whether they already have the stealth, the brotherhood, the courage, the physicality, the amphibiousness, the determination to make it as a Royal Marine.

Grief Encounters- The Documentary

Bec's has worked closely with Liz Murphy and the guys at Green Cave People to produce this beautiful documentary to be played at the Grief Encounters annual dinner. Grief Encounters is the inspiring charity that Mark previously cut the 'Bear' ad for, who help kids deal with the unimaginable pain and confusion of losing a parent or loved one. The documentary contributed to raising 400k in donations at the dinner, record amounts for the charity. A tremendous achievement for a charity that deserves every penny.

Last night marked the end of an amazing month for Eleanor at The Cob Gallery. Alex Warren and Tobias Ross-Southall's sensational cinematic installation has been received with open arms with special praise (even from Jude Law... Get in there girl!) going to our very own Rebecca Luff’s editing skills through the complicated three-screen display.

Sky+

Anyone watching The XFactor or Homeland this weekend (and there's a lot of you) will have been perplexed for a moment as to why their TV appeared to start rewinding and continuously replaying an advert for Ginger Pig which featured some particularly lovely looking sausages. This was a clever stunt by Sky to showcase the capabilities of their Sky+ offerings and it's Campaign's Ad Of The Day here.

The campaign launched with a suite of TV commercials featuring some of the UK’s biggest household names including Jonathan Ross, Lilly Allen, Sanjeev Bhasker and Sir Chris Hoy, extolling the virtues of both new and existing Sky+ features. All masterfully edited by Becs!

Aldi - Lemonade

We do not condone bad table manners or naughty children here at tenthree but on this occasion, MJ, Becs and the rest of the Aldi team make it endearing...sort of? These two little munchkins went through copious amounts of Aldi value lemonade in order to give us a winning burp. Ok that's a lie, no children were forced to drink lemonade and the burp is thanks to a lovely producer who wishes to remain anonymous.

Plan - International

Throughout the month of January, Becs' time was taken up by this mammoth project for global children's charity - Plan. Director MJ Delaney travelled to some of the world's poorest countries to spend time with a few of the children and listen to their stories of life growing up in extreme poverty. These humbling films only touch upon the awful conditions these children are subject to in every day life, but in the face of adversity they remain able to smile at the thought of one day getting an education or being able to provide for their family. Plan work to promote child rights and lift millions of children out of poverty based around 8 core values; Education, Health, Water and Sanitation, Protection, Economic Security, Emergencies, Child Participation and Sexual Health.

Aldi - Most Liked

Yet again Aldi has stolen the show, more specifically, Jean from Aldi 'Tea'. According to the article here on Campaignlive, Aldi 'Tea' was the most-liked ad of 2011! It fought off stiff and popular competition from John Lewis, Comparethemarket.com and VW Passat to claim the top spot. Here she is in all her Glory.

Aldi - Parrot (LIKE IT!)

Important message!! Parrots should NOT be kept as pets in small cages! However, they do make a great advert! In this latest installment from Aldi and Director MJ Delaney we see a jovial parrot on his perch inspecting his potential Christmas grog. Seemingly he's fond of them all and it makes for a hilarious spot! What makes this even more magical is that our own tenthree-er - Dom - provided the voice for the Parrot! What a talent!
